A 3-day seminar was hosted by the Musashi Kai Main Division in Ebetsu-city, Hokkaido on July 19-21.
The 15th Niten Ichiryu Musashi Kai Heido Promotional Exam was held in Chiba. 1 person was approved for 3-dan, 5 people for 4-dan, 3 people for 5-dan and 1 person for 6-dan at the promotional exam.

Yamana qualified for the All Japan Kendo Championship as a Nito player for the first time in 38 years, since Araseki-sensei, the former Shihan (master) of Musashi Kai competed in the Championship.
